丁华汉，中国工艺美术大师，高级工艺美术师。湖南醴陵人，1931年生。1961年毕业于中央工艺美术学院。1978年被评为国家级陶瓷彩绘工程师，擅长工笔花鸟绘画和陶瓷美术装饰，笔法大气，功底深厚。曾担任人民大会堂、毛主席纪念堂、国家军事博物馆、民族文化馆、工人体育馆用瓷的主要设计者。1955年恢复陶瓷釉下彩四元老之一。1965年设计的素色玫瑰取代加拿大进口花面，填补国内空白。同年设计的釉下彩蓝海棠餐具花面获得国家金质奖、风靡全国，至今几十年经久不衰。
他毕生致力于陶瓷美术设计。曾被国家派往阿尔及利亚、突尼斯技术援助数年。设计的磐石台灯、30厘米满花盘、胜利杯满花贴花纸曾获得全国星火革新奖。五十年代其作品收藏在国宫博物馆。他的名字被列入《中国近代艺术名人录》，2006年被评为中国工艺美术大师。

Ding Huahan was a great master of arts and crafts. He was born in Liling, Hunan in 1931. He was graduated from Central Arts and Crafts Academy in 1961; evaluated as ceramic color painting engineer at the national level in 1978; be expert in fine brushwork flowers and painting and ceramic art decoration; his works are of great style of brushwork; solid skill; Main designer of the Great Hall of the People, Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, Military Museum, Nationality Culture Museum and worker sports ceramics; One of the four patriarchs for recovery of under-glaze ceramic in 1955. Plain color rose designed in 1965 replaced the Canada imported vase, which make up the demotic gap. The under-glaze colors blue Chinese cherry apple tableware designed in the same year won national golden quality prize, which is fashionable around the China and still popular till to now.
He is devoted into ceramics arts design his whole life. He has been assigned to Algeria, Tunis for technology assistance for several years by the nation. Rock lamp bracket, 30cm Manhua Disk, Shenglimanhua decalcomania paper designed by him won National Xinghuo Innovation Prize. His products have been collected in the Palace Museum.
